Specific Tips about Orient Beach

We visited Orient Beach during our one and only trip to St. Martin. We loved it and want to return. Our taxi dropped us off at a beach bar very close to the clothing/no clothing line (Pedros?) . We were immediately approached (while paying the taxi driver) regarding renting chairs/umbrellas.

 

1. Is there a better place to ask the taxi driver to drop us off?

2. Has anyone done parasailing there? My wife has always wanted to try it. Any suggestions?

3. Any other helpful suggestions?
