Tenorman Posted May 6, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 6, 2010 I need some information on how strenuous the hiking is on cruise excursions in the Galapagos. My wife has some problems with her knee, and can only do some limited, non-stressful, walking. Can anyone give me some advice on this question? DDshortperson Posted June 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2010 I was on Celebrity Expedition in 07....they had 3 levels of activities....I usually took the lowest level & only had a problem when walking on the volcano rocks....my knees are really bad, so I walk slowly ...had people offer help when I needed a boost up, etc. What line are you using?:o
jjonboard Posted June 29, 2010 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2010 I found a pretty cool article about traveling and exploring the Galapagos islands by boat in an eco-friendly way on http://issuu.com/jhemsworth/docs/travelworld.maraprsm/8. greyhound101 Posted July 12, 2010 #4 Share Posted July 12, 2010 I went to the TravelWorld site as you suggested. Saw the article and was glad to see they mention Ecoventura because we just booked it for June 2011.
