RealThanny Posted May 10, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2010 I've searched for relevant threads, and there were a couple, but no one actually answered the question, which is: Is seltzer water considered "soda", in that it costs extra? Club soda is not seltzer water. Tonic water is not seltzer water. Seltzer water is nothing but carbonated water. Do they even have it, if everything comes from a can? Irishlinny Posted May 10, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 10, 2010 Yes, you need a soda card for it. It is canned club soda...they don't have it "on tap" like most bars do. I know because this is the "soda" I drink!:)
RealThanny Posted May 10, 2010 Author #3 Share Posted May 10, 2010 It is canned club soda... Club soda isn't seltzer, but I suppose that at least answers the question about whether or not it's charged extra for. I might have to wait until I get on the boat to see if they have seltzer at all. Irishlinny Posted May 10, 2010 #4 Share Posted May 10, 2010 I know...I drink seltzer, but was unable to find any on board. So I bought the soda card and got the club soda with a splah of cranberry juice and wedge of lime. You can get those things added if you like flavored seltzers. Turned out to be like the flavored seltzers I drink. Hope that helps!
cantwait06 Posted May 11, 2010 #5 Share Posted May 11, 2010 When I asked for seltzer they had no idea what I was talking about, but finally when I asked for club soda they got it. I believe thats the closest thing they have to seltzer!
