catagory 4

Has anyone stayed in the catagory 4 rooms on Atlantica the picture looks like it has doors leading outside but it isn't a balcony room

Just got off the Jan 23rd cruise on the atlantica. We stayed in a Cat 4 cabin. The cabin has doors that open inwards. There is a rail across the bottom of the doors. You can't go outside (no Balcony). You can see just below the lifeboats that hang outside your cabin.

The room was spacious. The cruise was excellent...my best one ever!!

If you want a balcony the cheapest one would be the Cat 6, you have the full balcony but it may have an obstructed view. The price in not much more. I have booked clients in this cabin and they were happy to have the extra space to go out onto.

I booked a balcony room but my daughter is in the cat. 4 room and was wondering if she could open the doors and enjoy the fresh air

The doors open inwards so you can prop them open for fresh air
