Plan of attack..Carnival Wedding

Recommended Posts

I have been debating the costs, and it looks like the best bang for you buck, if you are wanting to have an on island ceremony, would be to have the ceremony on the island, and then reception on the boat. Instead of doing both the ceremony and reception on the island.

My plan of attack so far is this.

On island ceremony at either grand cayman (i like the grand old house) or Cozumel. Head back to the ship for a carnival reception, so we can do the special father daughter, mother son, and first couples dance. Party a little and then go to the early dinner.

Has anyone ever attempted this before? And does this seem doable? We realized it's less expensive to get wed in the USA before sailing, therefore making the on island ceremony 'symbolic' but that day will be our official wedding date.
