zorrosuncle Posted June 2, 2010 #1 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Greetings -- Does HAL allow one to leave the ship after officially embarking? Was wondering if I might get a chance to see a little bit of my neighboring embarkation city. Have about four hours, by my estimate. Does the lifeboat drill take place in this period? garydm Posted June 2, 2010 #2 Share Posted June 2, 2010 Yes, if your definition of officially embarking means checking in and going onboard. Usually. There are exceptions on overnights. Gary

ZU Hi Zu, Yes, HAL does permit you to leave the ship and return after officially embarking. You need to be back by the specified time however. Life boat drills can occur at various times from just before leaving the dock to the next morning. It depends on the ship's schedule. You will be told as soon as you board the ship.
