Trunk Bay from Crown Bay?

I've read all the threads on Trunk bay and it looks like it's the beach to head for - went to Magens earlier this year and was a bit dissapointed. Looks good from a distance but not the tropical paradise I was expecting

 

I'm due to arrive on Oasis in Aug. Oasis docks at 09:00hrs at Crown Bay and departs at 18:00hrs. I'm assuming I can catch the 10:00hrs ferry at Red Hook. Has anyone done this? and what ferry did you catch back - 15:00hrs or 16:00hrs? Don't want to miss the boat so to speak but obviously want a decent length of time at Trunk Bay

 

Final question is how much is the taxi from Crown Bay to Red Hook pp?
