Banana Boat Rides

This will be my first trip to Nassau and after doing alot of reading on this board, have decided to spend some time at Cable Beach. Will my group be able to ride a banana boat while we're there or are they just for hotel guests? I think we're going to head to somewhere around the Radisson. Any other info about Cable Bbeach would be greatly appreciated - I hear there is a good daiquiri bar in the area???? Thanks so much!!!!
