Referral policy

My husband and I are past Seabourn cruisers and are seriously considering another cruise on the Legend this July. We would like to bring our friends who have never sailed Seabourn before. I have 2 questions:

1. What is the Seabourn referral policy?

2. If I choose a cruise which has a substantial savings for past Seabourn cruisers can I share that with our friends who would not otherwise travel without us?

The cruisers on this board seem extremely knowledgeable about Seabourn so I appreciate your responses.

I suggest that you call the Seabourn club...ask for Tessa. Tell her the name and address of your friends...and then [or before]..fax this info to Seabourn. We have found that yes, they have this program..but you have to stay on them for it to be fruitful. If you have a plat. Am Ex card....you can then book thru them and have them do battle for you. If you book direct with Seabourn..make this a fact at the time...and get the name of the person you booked with...and get their committment. It is worh the effort..as it is 500 shipboard credit to your friends account as well as yours. It can be used on tours, laundry, gift shop...special wines..etc. Not to be used in the casino...sorry..ha! As for discounts..your friends can have all discounts that you find on the Seabourn site on the internet.

La Paloma,

Another savings approach that not everyone seems aware of...

Past guests of any of the "World's Leading Cruise Lines"--i.e. Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland America, Princess and Windstar are eligible for Club savings when they are available on any cruise. That's a pretty wide net--perhaps your friends have sailed on one of those? If so, and if you pick a cruise with 50% club savings--they hit the jackpot.
