Can someone tell me how the ship docks, with the port side towards the pier or is the port view out to sea? im also assuming that we are at Carnivals pier as well

Generally the port side will be facing the island and the starboard side the water in coz. The pier may be on either side. And if you're on the inside of the pier, the starboard side may be facing another ship. And the opposite would be true if you were in the outside berth. Make sense?
