Back to back question

Are back to back passengers required to disembark the ship at the termination of the first leg? Specifically, Nice to Rome and back again.

we have not done a back to back on SD before but on other cruises we have had several options....(1) we have been offered a freebie 1/2 day tour (2) we have just gone ashore and done our own thing but come back for a buffet lunch (3) we have stayed on the ship and sun-bathed etc....on one cruise we were the only couple to do this and felt like "owners" for a few hours until the other guests came back from their tour....

 

you specifically mention Nice - Rome - Nice....we are doing this cruise in June on SD1....will we be fellow cruisers?....
