Can beds be made double??

Hi, The ship lists the beds as single, my son is looking at the Island Escape for his honeymoon as it falls into his budget. Can anyone tell me if the beds could be made into a double please

Normally when you make the reservation you have the choice of twin bed (single) or double bed. Just check the double bed. If that doesn't do the trick, call the reservation line and one of the nice people will take care of it for you/him.

If you look at the deck plans on the Thomson cruise website the cabins with a black dot are the doubles but you can have 2 singles that are put together by the steward. I believe the true doubles sell quite quickly though.:):)

We had two singles that they made into a double. This was pushed up against the wall and the poor person on this side could only get out either by the bottom or crawling across the very hard wooden edges of the two beds which of course were in the middle. It def stopped any accidental straying onto the otherside of the bed. Don't know if these will be changed after the refurb but I would def. only go for a true double.
