amerisuite 17th st., fort lauderdale

We need feedback on the amerisuite 17 st., in fort lauderdale, for a precruise night's stay. We just want something in a good neighborhood that is clean and has free shuttle service. Please let us know about this place if you are familiar with the area.

We stayed there in December and will be staying there on the evening of Feb 26th. We booked the Feb 26th stay after we had stayed there in Dec.

 

We really enjoyed the place! FABULOUS buffet breakfast that included make your own Belgian waffles (breakfast is included in the room rate).

 

What we also liked about the hotel was that it is two short blocks off the main street, so it is very quiet, yet very close to a lot of places. We went for a walk on the morning before our cruise. There are two large drug stores to get your last minute supplies, a grocery store, plenty of restaurants, a dive shop, and many other stores within very close proximity to the hotel.

 

The place was under renovations in December, but they must be finished that now. There is also an exercise room and a small, but clean, outdoor pool.

 

We definitely recommend the place.
