Tampa Pier to Airport???

Does anyone know how far it is from the pier to the airport and approximately how long it takes? Our ship is due in at 8:00 on a Sunday morning and I'm trying to figure out if we can make an 11:45 flight. Thanks!

It will probably take longer to clear Customs/Immigration and get your bags than it will take to get to the airport. On a Sunday morning 15-20 minutes depending on your driver and the route he goes. Shouldnt have any problem getting an 1145am flight. When we used to check in customers at the pier we never accepted anything before 12 noon, but that was because we waited until all were off the ship before leaving with all the bags. If you are off and on your way, I wouldnt sweat it.
