Snorkeling in Mid-November

The DW and I are going on our first cruise on Nov. 15 leaving out of Charleston for the Bahamas. I really want to snorkel while in Freeport, but was wondering what the water temps. will be like that time of the year. Has anyone gone on the catamaran excursion that time of year. If so, was the water too cool for snorkeling to be enjoyable?

I haven't done the excursion, but the water temps very rarely ever drop below 72 in Freeport, so you should be fine that early in the season.

Thanks. The wanter temp has been the only thing that has been keeping me from going ahead and booking the excursion. Still wondering if a shorty might not be a bad idea.

Depends on your tolerance for cooler water temps. While it didn't bother me, DH was happy to have an insulated diveskin in October in Freeport and Nassau.
