Cruise Casino Comps - what to expect....

Dont expect much from Carnival.I spend around $5000 per cruise sometimes more sometimes less and they are really bad .Most I have gotten is drinks.I wrote them a nice letter last month to tell them how bad there system is(never got an answer either)

In the past I've gotten fruit and cheese baskets, photo coupons, drink coupons, champagne, wine, choc. covered strawberries and casino cash (anywhere from $100-$1250) when on Carnival cruises.

 

I just received an email from Carnival's casino division saying that I could have a complimentary suite on the Aug Miracle cruise. I called today and booked it and it will be totally free, including port fees and taxes! Even NCL charges those fees when you get a comped cabin so I was really surprised.

 

We've never had a suite before so I'm totally thrilled......way to go Carnival! I'm not a big gambler but we're in the casino for hours every night

We only play slots--mostly penny and five cents. Last year we sailed Adventure of the Seas and once home they sent us certificates for $500.00 off my husband's cruise and $350.00 off mine. We sailed Adventure again this past April and had paid for the entire cruise before we had a return call from RCI Casino at sea. No problem--they had us go to the Casino cage once onboard and they gave us the cash.

 

We play mostly at Hollywood Casino near Hershey PA. Last Oct they offered a free cruise to each of us. We combined our certicicates and will have a balcony to Bermuda later this month. We did have to pay taxes and fees, but it was still very inexpensive.
