Questions about Westerdam SB7142

Hi....My son has already posted some messages about our upcoming family cruise on the Westerdam to Alaska this summer. I'm sooooo excited and logged in under his account to ask some questions that he is too embarassed to ask because he thinks they are so silly.

 

We are holding room SB7142(aft balcony suite) I have two questions:

1. Is this room darker than other rooms because the sun is blocked by

the overhang (if the answer is yes, is it true of all aft suites)

2. Are views from inside the room somewhat obstructed because of the

configuration of the aft decks (again is this true of all aft suites)

ooops....I just saw a picture of the entire ship that answers my qustions and makes me understand why my son thought my questins were silly (he's cruised before, I have not). I now realize that all rooms have the same outside configuration, just some have larger balconies than others....thanks.
