Best Beach ??

Sailing in January on Crown Princess. What is the best beach to just chill and maybe a little snorkeling? We don't like to do excursions but like to get away from the cruise crowds. Reading posts there seems to be several beaches but whats the best?

I'm interested in this also. We don't want an excursion - but we definitely want good snorkeling. Are thinking about renting a car for our party and just driving around a bit ourselves, then going to a beach for snorkeling. Would prefer not to be at the same exact spot as the cruise ship! :D (we have our own equipment) - not diving just snorkeling.

Tabayana is a wonderful beach and good snorkeling from the shore. Half Moon Bay is good for snorkeling, too...funky little out of the way place, but not a good sandy swimming beach.

Tabayana is part of a long string of beaches, so people aren't all in the same place. But it's gorgeous over there...highly recommend it. If you want, get a tour through Victor Bodden and you will have a driver to bring you anywhere you want to go...well worth it!:)

I agree 100%! Tabayana has some great snorkeling. Just heavenly:):)

You will NOT be unhappy with Tabyana Beach...just beautiful
