Fabric Shops/ Quilt Shops

I'm hoping to find a few fabric shops to buy some local fabrics since I'm a quilter and would love to make some fun memories with fabric purchased on cruises.

 

Does anyone know of a fabric shop or a quilt shop in Cozumel?

 

Google is failing me and only bringing up quilting cruises that go to those ports. The only suggestion I found was to try a fabric shop at the Chedraui mall. Has anyone been to it there?

Yes there is a shop in the Chedraui mall. There is a large fabric store next to the church downtown in the pedestrian area. They have a big box of left over scraps they sell cheap. There's a couple more in the downtown area close to the mercado.

Oh thank you! Hoping we'll have some time before or after Nachi to hit these places up.

 

I'm also crossing my fingers to find some good deals on Mexican wool blankets.
