Visiting St. Kitts on the Emerald Princess in April. I have been to Trunk in the past, but i dont remember it that well... should i go back or visit a different beach?

How far away are they from the cruise dock?

(Which one is closer)

Which has better snorkeling?

(more of a beginner-ish. not many deadly/scary animals)

Which has better beaches?

(no seaweed, no pebbles everywhere, sandy bottom, etc)

Which has better view- picture perfect areas?

(mountains/huge rocks in the water/islands in sight)

Which has less people, or at least not crazy crowded?

Thank you! =]

I'm not familiar with all of the beaches that you listed - however here are some things to keep in mind:

If you want to snorkel from the beach, then you will need a beach that is somewhat rocky - not soft sand - as the fishies need coral to feed from.

All of these are on St John - not St Kitts - are you stopping in St. Thomas? getting to St. John can be a little time consuming - none of the large ships stop in St. John.

If you did mean St Thomas, then I would suggest Sapphire Beach - sandy beach, but excellent snorkeling to the one side, nice view of St. John, and not too far from the port.

Good Luck!

Yes sorry for my mistake, its supposed to be St. Thomas/John. And i am also aware you need rocks/coral for the fish to attract. I was looking for coral off to the side, like you described at Sapphire Beach. I will definitely research more about it. Do you know exactly how far away Sapphire beach is from the port? Thanks =]
