TiggerLuv2Cruise Posted February 6, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2011 From reading prior posts, am I correct to understand that I would be allowed to bring soda I purchase before I board on with me?
bellybutton530 Posted February 6, 2011 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2011 You are correct. You can bring both sodas and water on board. Simply slap a luggage tag with your name and cabinnumber on each container (ie, carton) and hand them over to the porters when you check your bags at the pier. ukdeblarz Posted February 6, 2011 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2011 Really? You can still check in 12 packs of soda with Celebrity? For about the past year or so, the other cruise lines have stopped the check in practice and made you carry on soda with a limit of 12 cans pp. I really like the option of checking it in rather than carrying it. It would be even better if they started carrying diet Mt Dew on board.

It would be even better if they started carrying diet Mt Dew on board. In Nov, on Connie, I checked 2 12-packs of sodas and 3 3-gal boxes of spring water. There were 3 other ladies with me in the PH; each of them brought a flat of bottled water and a 24-pack of sodas. All of it was waiting for us in the cabin when we got there.
