The only reason to choose one or the other is if you prefer the bathroom to be on your left or your right. Are these 2 cabins noticibly smaller inside than the other PH3's? Yes, those cabins are slightly narrower for their entire length when compared to a "standard" PH3. The bathroom is not smaller, but the closet certainly is. can you walk thru the open archway on the stern to sit or lean over the balcony? I think this photograph says it all ;) Enjoy your cruise! However, I'll be sure to post photos when I return. BTW - My TA mentioned that the Oceania person he spoke with said that the divider has been removed on the Riviera.
