Deep sea charter

We (all 11 of us) leave in 8 days to sail on the Caribbean Princess. Some of the guys (3-4) want to do a deep sea fishing charter while in St. Thomas or St. Maarten. They seem to think they can just ask for a contact once we get on the ship. I think they are better off to call ahead to one of the places many of you have suggested in other postings. Do you think they will have luck waiting until they are on board? Any advice?

 

8 days until weather that doesn't require me to clean the snow off my car!

If they are set on wanting to do fishing in St. Thomas, I'd recommend doing some calling and getting information prior to getting on board. Making reservations.
