sharon j Posted June 14, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2004 We are on the Explorer in Feb/05 and wanted to book some type of sightseeing tour in St. Maarten. Has anyone booked with portpromotions.com or have any suggestions as to what tours are good! We would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Sharon
sangoofy Posted June 21, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2004 Just returned from AOS cruise on Sunday. Friends of ours that cruised with us did the 6 hr tour through Port Promotions that included bus tour of both sides of island (dutch & french), bbq lunch, snorkel, swim, chair and 1 drink on Orient Beach and 1 hr shopping in Marigot. They absolutely loved it and thought is was well worth the $44 pp charged. Booked online, no problems.
Lpetchen Posted August 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2004 Thanks for this timely topic. I was just getting ready to ask the same question about "Port Promotions." I guess I'll book in the next day or two! Thanks again.
kendon Posted August 5, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2004 We've used Port Promotions for the western and southern carribean, and Alaskan excursions. They are wonderful tours and very personal. The prices are right too! At times they are difficult to find as everyone seems to be hooking up with their groups at the same time on the pier/dock. We did miss a tour in Aruba as the ship came in late and the tour left without us, so we called the 800 number and 10 minutes later someone appeared and immediately hooked us up with another tour group. They are friendly and accomodating. Sorry I cannot help you with regards to St. Marten since we did not do an excursion there.
