Camp Carnival Question (on Victory)

We are going on a cruise on the Carnival Victory in a few weeks. A few camp carnival questions for anyone who knows:

 

1. When does Camp Carnival close for lunch and dinner? I know it depends if its a port or sea day, but any info will be appreciated. We'd like to enjoy a few dinners alone, if possible. We have early seating and, at worst case, would like to drop them off at 7:00, if they are closed until then.

 

2. Are the children allowed to eat lunch and/or dinner every day/night with the staff or if its just on selected days?
