Weather in W.Caribbean?

I don't see very much about the weather on this board. I've been checking the weather for Cozumel, and it looks like it's cloudy every day. Either rainstorms or partly cloudy, I've yet to see a sunny day. Is it sunny as often as it is cloudy, or more cloudy? We're leaving in a week. Tampa to Cozumel.

I always travel the 2nd week in January and have been to Cozumel 3 times. Everytime was bright and sunny. Not sure what it will be like in March. My best guess is just keep checking on weather.com

It is hit and miss in Cozumel and the entire Western Caribbean. Weather.com showed it was going to be cloudy with showers the entire week of our cruise (2/27) but when we actually arrived it was beautiful..with a few clouds here and there. It did rain a bit in Jamaica but they needed it desperately as they are in drought so it actually made me happy to see it.

 

In any case, it is so warm that sometimes a light shower or clouds make it much more tolerable.

I just read where it was 84deg with 70% humity felt like 96 deg. A bit sticky,:) this was in the Caymans Yesterday.
