Freedom Aft (Specifically 8710)

Just back from the Freedom Eastern 7 day. We had cabin 8710 which is one of the aft cabins. I have heard a lot of reviews both ways, but I have to say that we loved it. The extra room on the balcony is great! There is very little view lost to the structure in the back in the cabin we were in. We did have a little soot from the stacks, but very little. One persistent problem was -- ping pong balls. I guess the ping pong table is up on deck 12 directly above the cabin. On the last day of the cruise, we had 6 balls come on to or hit our balcony in an hour. No big deal, just kind of funny.

 

Anyway, I know this is a common question, but loved the aft balcony.

 

The Freedom was great. However that is a lot of people. I could tell that they enlarged the elevators to accommodate that many folks. Again, not a big deal, but I actually think I like the Voyager class better.

Thank You I was worried about our cabin. Our cabin is on the opposite side of yours. We are in cabin 8410. Did you have a window and a door? Just door? Looking at pictures and is hard to tell. Do you have any pictures you can post? What kind of seats where on your balcony?
