Hotels in St Thomas, any ideas?

Hi

 

I am trying something different (just once) and doing a Windjammer cruise so we can spend more time in the Tortola area this summer.

 

We are flying in and out of St Thomas. It is late when we fly in so we are staying at the Island Beach Comber one night pre cruise, but are staying 2 nights post cruise and would like something nicer, but not outrageous in price.

 

Does anyone have experiences or suggestions for St Thomas hotels for mid July?

I just got back from ST. Thomas. We stopped at several hotels/resorts while we were there. The Ritz is gorgeous, but very expensive. Out of all the places I saw, I would reccommend wither the Mariott or Saphire Beach REsort. They were both beautiful! I know a guy on ST. Thomas that moved there from the states. He has a lot of information that might help you. Also...He has his own tour company. Email him and he will help you out! He is great!
