hotel in Anchorage during solstice?

Next year during summer solstice, we will fly in to Anchorage a few days before the cruise. Any suggestions for a mid range hotel downtown so we can walk downtown?

 

I figure with the solstis, we should book early... any other suggestions for solstic time in Achorage?

I don't believe you will find that Anchorage is any more busy due to the Summer Solstice.

 

Busy due to cruises and cruise tours.....yes.

Although there are some downtown activities, it is nothing that causes a spike in hotel bookings.
