Family Suites on Infinity

We are trying to decide whether to book a family suite or two rooms on our Infinity cruise. Does anyone know if the bedroom in the family suite has a closing/locking door or just a privacy partition. Thanks for any help.

We were in one of these cabins during our last Infinity cruise. Although the FV cabins have large cabins/balconies, they not classified as suites.

The FV cabins have a sliding door partition that does not lock.

Also, the bathroom is off of the main bedroom. You must pass through the main bedroom to reach the secondary area, which contains two couches during the day that convert to beds at night. The sliding door between the two areas has frosted glass. I would not call the two areas private from each other. We loved this room, but were just expecting a feel of separation, not privacy.

Hi All -- another FV question...

I was reading on another thread that the FV cabins only have showers, no tubs... but the pictures on the Celebrity website and on cruisestateroom.com show the FVs have bathtubs... or is it only the non-corner FVs have showers only? You only get the tubs when you book a suite. All other cabins have showers. What might look like a tub on cruisestateroom.com is the rectangular shower. It's not round like so many other ships have. Here is the link to see in great detail what the corner aft cabins look like. I believe the above poster, mahdnc, took them.
