glin930 Posted March 21, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2005 I will be with Godfrey's tour last week of April (after daylight saving). I am from East coast. Godfrey's email says he will pick us up at 10am ship time. What is meant by ship time? Is this the same as St. Thomas local time? If it is 9am EST = 10am ship time or St Thomas local time? Is St Thomas time = St Marten time?
glin930 Posted March 21, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted March 21, 2005 Just to clarify on my earlier question. I am taking Carnival Triumph at the end of April. Don't know whether the cruise ship has anything to do with "Ship time" while in St Thomas.
gonna go cruising Posted March 24, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2005 On the Caribbean Princess we were informed that on our second night at 2am we were to set clocks forward an hour and we stayed on that time (atlantic time, same as island time) until they told us to change back on the way to Princess cays in the bahamas I believe. If your ship changes time you will be made aware of it. Hope that helps.
