Best way to do & best available sea lion excursions at Nassau

OK -- we booked next year's cruise while onboard the Dream this summer.

Is it too early to start planning for July 2012? We did Atlantis this year -- thinking about MAYBE doing a sea lion excursion next year.

What would you recommend? Do it through DCL? Is that only the Blue Lagoon one? Noticed that Atlantis has one as well.

Which one is better, easier, less expensive?

If you did Blue Lagoon -- was it worth it? Did you spend the bulk of the day there? If you book through DCL, do you have to stay there all day or can you head back to the ship early?

Wondering if we should schedule an early sea lion encounter and then head back to the ship after it is over -- but, I'm not even sure that is an option.

We did a dolphin swim at Discovery Cove -- loved it -- thought it might be neat to try a sea lion encounter.

Thank you -- I soooooo can't wait for July 2012!

I did Blue Lagoon dolphins on my own when I went to Nassau with Carnival. At that point they were only offering Atlantis and I heard that it was not as good as Blue Lagoon. I don't know how long you will be in Nassau ..we were there most of the day and I booked the earliest time available.

I can't speak for Atlantis but I have to say that Blue Lagoon is fabulous. It was a 20 minute ferry ride to the island. We got back to the main island in time to go to lunch at the fish fry and do some shopping near the pier.

If you have time Blue Lagoon has a private beach with a snack bar too.
