Anyone golf at ports-of-call ?

I hope this thread can stick around long enough to get an answer, as I've asked in the Ports Forum and have gotten no response - larger audience here !

 

We will be cruising the Southern Barbados --> St. Croix route in September and my husband is interested in setting up a 9-hole tee time at Carambola Golf Resort in St. Croix. I have sent them emails but they do not respond so a phone call will be next. RCCL has an 18-hole excursion to this course which also states in the description that an "observer" (which would be me) is welcome to use the tennis and pool facilities while the golfer is playing. I'm just wondering if we go it on our own if I'll be able to stay at the pool .... has anyone out there done this ???

 

I will call them, but was hoping to find out if anyone else has done this - unfortunately, once folks have sailed they don't visit the Ports Forums all that often to answer questions.
