Parasailing/beach time

Really want to do a parasailing excursion while in St. Thomas. I was just going to book this through the ship most likely. Anyone done this?

 

We'd also like to spend some beach time for the rest of the day. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Wasn't sure if we should book another excursion or just go on our own. The last time we were in St. Thomas we took the water taxi to St. John which we LOVED! We went to Trunk Bay but that was 8 years ago and I hear it's much busier now so wondered if we should try another beach. Whatever we do I want to make sure we get back to the ship in plenty of time!

 

Thought about doing the dolphin encounter in Tortola, but not sure if we'd have enough time to do that and parasail and I really want to parasail!
