What time of year...

My DH and I cruised out of San Juan in february and we loved PR so much (we stayed there a few days pre and post cruise), we obviously want to do it again. My question is this: while I have no complaints about the season In which we went, we thought it would be cool to go when the fruits and things are ripe in the rainforest - one zipline excursion mentions they will pick fresh fruits and things for you. At the same time, we don't want to worry about our south Caribbean cruise getting rained out too much. Could someone (rainforest girl?) give me a little insight on this? Thanks!
