Time zone changes in November for St. Thomas ans Saint Maarten

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I posted this on the port board and they thought I might want to post it here for people who have takenthe same ship/ ports that I will be taking. There is a one hour time difference between the ship and ports in November? Correct? Is it one hour before as in 7 island time 8 ship time or one ahead as in 8 ship time 9 island time? Also how long does it take for you to disembark in St. Thomas and St. Maarten once you dock? I am trying to firm up the times with the tour operators and there seems to be confusion. Thanks!!!!

Thanks! I called RCCL last night and the ship is on Miami time always. So in Nov you are correct we are i hour behind island time. Make sure you shorten up on the other side to. If you depart at 5 pm it is 6 pm island time. If you book your own excursions make sure you let them know ship time not island time.:D
