For the ones who purchased the photographer through the wedding experience, is it worth the cost?

I am getting married on Carnival Magic May 2012. You do not purchase the photographer if you are doing an onboard wedding. It comes with the packages. You do have to purchase the photos though. Also, if you are getting married on ship, you are not allowed to bring a professional photographer with you.
