Altun Ha/Wallace River vs Xunantunich-Carnival

Hello,

 

We are looking at Carnival Excursion for this tour and can't decide which one. Which ruin is better? We are family of 4, kids are 11 and 16.

 

I know both tour are long and this is a tender port, so decided to book it through the ship to be safe.

For the kids' sake, Altun Ha via River Wallace will be more interesting of a trip to or from, which ever end is the river leg. Also closer than Xunantunich which is longer bus rides both ways.
