Turtles & Monkeys

Hi, there! My first post... :) We are going on a cruise next Sunday and wanted to do turtle swim and wildlife resort tour while on Barbados. None of the operators offer that, any suggestions? Would we be able to do that on our own? I've read that if you get to the beach you can get some locals to boat you to the snorkeling site for turtles or one can swim. I am always afraid of undertow, any chances of that at the Paynes Beach?

I was thinking of doing snorkeling from say 9 to 12 and then take a taxi to Wildlife Resort for the animal feed for 2 p.m. Do you think we would have enough time?

Thanks for any suggestion.
