Paris Highlights Shore Excursion Questions

We will be on the Golden 5-8-05 and are looking at the available shore excusrions. Can anyone give a review of the Paris Hightlights tour? It's 3 hours of driving each way which is a long drive and we were wondering if what you see is worth the time and money. Also, when on a ship sponsored excursion, does the ship wait if the bus is late? Total time is 10 1/2 hours and it is supposed to get you back to the ship 30 prior to departure.
