standup paddle boarding

any input or info on "suping" in caribbean ports? i'm sure that rentals may be on offer on some of the islands, but am thinking of taking my own good quality inflatable board. it fits in a backpack with pump, paddle, jacket and is pretty manageable, within my luggage allotments and fits under bed, so why not?

on azamara journey on mar18 and following is rundown on ports. st. john, st. thomas, nevis, guadeloupe, dominica, st barts (2days), st maarten, virgin gorda, ending san juan.

if anyone has any comments or ideas i would appreciate it. my cruisemate is more of a beach and tan person, so he will probably be happy at any place of my choosing. i figure suping and snorkeling will go well at most beaches and am more that willing to share the board with anyone to take a snorkeling break. thanks for any updates.
