carnival legend excursions in Belize

We are going on the Carnival Legend in March 2013. I was looking at the excursions as we are very interested in going to Lamanai. Normally I take the tours from independent contractors, but was hoping to do the ships tour due to the time involved in this tour. What are my other options?
