dcd34 Posted April 25, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2005 I am looking for a good, solid, hike to do in Wrangell. Any ideas? Maybe I should also post this on the NCL board since only NCl goes there.

dcd34 Posted May 6, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 6, 2005 I guess there's not much good hiking in Wrangell?
CruiseIsGood Posted May 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 6, 2005 It looks like there is. http://www.wrangell.com/visitors/index.html " Wrangell Island has over 100 miles of forest roads that offer mountain bikers, hikers, RV'ers, and other explorers access to remote lakes, rivers, campsites and scenic overlooks. Several maintained trails provide immediate immersion into the surrounding lush temperate rainforest." http://www.wrangell.com/visitors/attractions/outdoors/trails/index.html
steveandellen Posted August 2, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 2, 2005 We're going on the 8/14 NCL Sun -- our first cruise (and this is my 1st cruisecritic post). We're having a tough time figuring out what to do in Wrangell. I'm going with my wife and two sons (ages 6 and 8) who are pretty good hikers (we did some nice short-elevation hikes in the NH White Mountains last summer). Where could we hike on our own from the cruiseship dock? Thanks, ~~~Steve
