maxamuus Posted March 31, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Wow! It is a rather vague news story. Unless the ruling just came down, but what judge in Tx. is issuing rulings at 10pm on a Friday night ?

bhanback Posted March 31, 2012 Author #9 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Strange. Where's the rest of the story? I don't buy it. Evidently this just popped up about a half hour ago. It's showing on the financial sites like Bloomberg, but it is just two or three lines. I find it hard to believe too!

maxamuus Posted March 31, 2012 #16 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Yikes! So sorry to anyone supposed to sail on Carnival Triumph. What a bummer! Hope Carnival takes care of the cruisers who were to sail on the Triumph.
Rottweiler Puppy Posted March 31, 2012 #17 Share Posted March 31, 2012 I dont understand it. Prevent a company from making money that could help victims and survivors? I wonder if Carnival will spite them and drop the ports from Texas? Doubtful and I would hope not. This will be interesting.

andr3a Posted March 31, 2012 #19 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Maybe I'm missing something but what do the Triumph and this man's death have to do with each other???
wework2play Posted March 31, 2012 #20 Share Posted March 31, 2012 Just read the added info. IF this could possibly have any merit, it doesn't sound like it will actually get seized. Too many things don't add up though...they can't have a "quick hearing" on a Saturday. I'm cruising on the Triumph April 23rd....I think. :D
