Debarking and leaving out of FLL

Recommended Posts

We did self assist, no breakfast, cashed our refund check at GS and walked through customs in about 15 minutes. We walked to the garage, retrieved our car and was on the road by 8:40 a.m. We took our time also, you can get up earlier than that.

If we had to fly though, I think I would book at least noon.

Happy Sailing,

We had flights at 11:30 out of FLL when debarking from MIA. Did self-assist, through customs, caught the SAS shuttle and were checked in and sitting by the gate at 9:30.

But if you get caught with a total customs inspection, you might not make it. I was worried and had all the flights later in the day listed, as well as phone numbers for the airline on my cellphone, in case we were delayed.
