luv2cruise13 Posted May 27, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2012 We have been on the Mediterranea once and her sister ship, Atlantica, four times in the Caribbean. The toga party is a hoot. You can use the bed sheets they give you and bring some glitzy belts/jewelry to wear or I finally made my own togas for my husband and I. They will also have an Italian night and a Caribbean night. So bring some Italian colors (like red for the ladies) and something with an island feel to it. Costa has some great entertainment at night. I had never been on a Carnival until this last year. It is supposed to be the "fun" ships. I thought Costa had them beat by a mile for activities. I was never "dressed up and no place to go" there. We have been on 9 cruises with Costa and love the dancing and ambiance. The Mediterranea is pretty glitzy compared to the Atlantica, but we loved it. Hope we can maybe take it back to Europe (transAtlantic) when she returns to Italy. That would be my dream trip. Have fun.
