strange question - tennis courts @ resorts

Does anyone know if there are any tennis courts at the resorts at Costa Maya? I have been to Costa Maya before, but we didn't venture into town. I use the word resorts loosely because I don't know what is there. I am asking because we will be there in June, and I just found out that my DS has a tournament the day we return from the cruise. We are looking for a place to hit for an hour or so. TIA.

There are no tennis courts in Costa Maya. The Coata Maya Inn, a large hotel just outside the port, perhaps a 1/4 mile from the port exit, has some basketball courts that seem to have been set up to be able to convert to tennis, they are surrounded by a chain link fence for example, but there are no nets for tennis. I suppose, should you really need to practice, this is as close as you'll find. No resorts with tennis courts. Cozemel is a better bet for that.

Thanks. I had gotten a AAA book and had figured out that we were going to be out of luck for this port. I am still trying to get a resort in Cozumel to reply to emails. I appreciate the help.
