Do you recommend have reservations for Mr. Sanchos AI package?

We're proably going to do the all inclusive package at Mr. Sanchos. In the e-mail they sent me they "highly recommend" having reservations instead of just showing up to buy the AI package. What do you all think? The only reason I'm worried about booking early is b/c we are cruising during hurricane season and there's always that possibility of a port getting canceled...not sure if they'd refund us. So what's your experience? you think pre-booking is necessary?
