Gold rock beach

Anyone booked an excursion to Gold Rock Beach from one of the local companies offering excursions? I see two different sites offering $50 pp roundtrip which is much cheaper than any cruise excursion or going it on your own? Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have researched this a lot since I will be going there in december. Rent a car and do it yourself thats what im doing.
