honeymoon 5/19 Posted August 5, 2012 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Hi I just read your post and we leave in a few days and were wondering about those excursions as well. Did you enjoy them, worth doing? thanks!
leo1612 Posted August 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted August 5, 2012 I did the aqua blue tour in Bora Bora and it was awesome. The highlight of my trip. That is a must whatever island you choose to do it on.
lithlith Posted August 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2012 In July 2012, we did the Aquablue helmet dive excursion and a 4x4 tour from Albert Transportation while in Moorea. We had never done anything like Aquablue helmet dive before and it was neat to try. There were 8 passengers on the excursion. They took 4 people down for 30-40 minutes. While those people were under with the helmets, the rest could snorkel around the same area. There were two large sting rays, quite a few fish, and a good amount of coral around where were did the excursion. It was an interesting experience and I'm not sure I would want to do it again, but it was neat to try! Having the time to snorkel while the others were under made it worth the price as well. We had a good time on this excursion! (Another note - there is someone who takes photos and video that they will try to sell you after...the cost of the that was more than the excursion price, so if you have your own underwater camera take it along!) About 6 months prior, we booked a 4x4 tour of Moorea with Albert Transportation for 4500CPF per person. We saw the cruise ship 4x4 excursion at several of our stops and it made us feel good that we paid much less for the same thing! It was a good tour with many stops, some of nice views, others at a pineapple plantation, Marae, rum factory, vanilla plantation, etc. It was a good excursion and we had a good time, but having done the 4x4 excursion in Bora Bora just a few days prior, we could easily say that the scenery from Bora Bora was much better! honeymoon 5/19 Posted August 5, 2012 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2012 Thanks for the info!! Definitely interested in both the aqua tour in moorea and the atv tour. I've been trying to get in touch with albert and haven't been able to reach him. This is the address I have info@albert-transport.net, do you happen to have another?
