In July 2012, we did the Aquablue helmet dive excursion and a 4x4 tour from Albert Transportation while in Moorea.

We had never done anything like Aquablue helmet dive before and it was neat to try. There were 8 passengers on the excursion. They took 4 people down for 30-40 minutes. While those people were under with the helmets, the rest could snorkel around the same area. There were two large sting rays, quite a few fish, and a good amount of coral around where were did the excursion. It was an interesting experience and I'm not sure I would want to do it again, but it was neat to try! Having the time to snorkel while the others were under made it worth the price as well. We had a good time on this excursion! (Another note - there is someone who takes photos and video that they will try to sell you after...the cost of the that was more than the excursion price, so if you have your own underwater camera take it along!)

About 6 months prior, we booked a 4x4 tour of Moorea with Albert Transportation for 4500CPF per person. We saw the cruise ship 4x4 excursion at several of our stops and it made us feel good that we paid much less for the same thing! It was a good tour with many stops, some of nice views, others at a pineapple plantation, Marae, rum factory, vanilla plantation, etc. It was a good excursion and we had a good time, but having done the 4x4 excursion in Bora Bora just a few days prior, we could easily say that the scenery from Bora Bora was much better!
